You will need your passport to apply for your student visa.

If you don’t have a passport, apply for one as soon as possible.

Passport processing times can take up to 11 months.

If you already have a passport, make sure it is valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen area.

    Meet with study abroad advisor

Find out if the ESC academic program, cultural and living arrangements, and living in France fit your personal interests and academic goals.

Discuss with your advisor which prefix (SOCI or BINT) best fits your academic discipline for the Cross-Cultural Communications Class:

SOCI 3332 Culturology Cross-Cultural-Communication OR BINT 3366 Intercultural Communication

    – The class and course outline is identical for both prefixes.

    – This allows the flexibility for both business and non-business majors to select which “prefix” (SOCI or BINT) best fits their major.

    – Students must pre-select the course designator on the application form.
