After the first days of orientation in their new home and castle for the next months, we arranged a Get Together to get to know each other better: 37 students sitting on cozy blankets in a big circle – what a great cultural exchange! With the help of the game “Encuentro” it is easy to learn more about each other: students introduced themselves, asked and answered questions about their personalities, opinions, and life in general.
This interesting exchange of thoughts was the start for private conversations in smaller groups.
- “Winter, spring, summer, fall – what is your favorite season?”
- “If you could give your mother a gift what would it be?”
- “What the caterpillar calls the end of the world the master calls a butterfly! What do you think?”
- “What does friendship mean to you?”
Another highlight was the belatedly “Kings Cake”. In accordance with French tradition you eat this pastry on the 6th of January. A little ceramic figure is hidden somewhere in the cake – The one who finds it in his/her piece of cake gets the crown. We are proud to announce that we have 5 queens at our study center now.
So the first connections were made and may turn into unique friendships!
