Palais Rohan

The Palais Rohan (Rohan Palace) in Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin, France was opened in 1782 and is the former residence of the prince-bishops and cardinals of the House of Rohan, an ancient French noble family originally from Brittany, and is a major architectural, historical and cultural landmark in the city.

Today, there are three splendid museums housed inside this stately building and all of them are worth a visit: Fine Art, Archeology, and Decorative Arts. Special exhibitions are also on display.
