Dr. Jeannie Grussendorf (Ph.D., Bradford University, 1998) is senior lecturer in the Political Science department at Georgia State University. While her research interests center broadly on questions related to peace research, most of her scholarly activities center on teaching. In addition to being responsible for an introductory level core class on Global Issues, Dr. Grussendorf teaches International Relations theories, U.S. Foreign Policy and Politics of Peace. Her most recent research project examines the effect of guided reflection activities on improving critical thinking skills in two US foreign policy classes. Prior to joining the GSU faculty, Dr. Grussendorf has taught at East Carolina University (2004-2006) and worked on a youth violence prevention research project at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (2001-2004).
